The Board of Directors has approved some changes to our By-laws - dated Jan 27, 2016. Please review these changes as they will be voted on by our members at the Mar 2016 monthly meeting

We are always looking for volunteers to help run the group. If you are interested in getting involved, please review our current By-Laws for a description of positions and responsibilities.

Background

The Software Quality Group of New England was founded in 1994 as a special interest group of the Boston Computer Society. From the beginning the Group has been cosponsored by the Software Division of the American Society of Quality. After the close of the Boston Computer Society in September of 1996, the Group has relied on corporate sponsors to provide a meeting place.

From October of 1996 until April of 1999, the Group was sponsored by Waterfield Technology Group of Lexington Massachusetts. Sun Microsystems has been the corporate sponsor of the Group since May of 1999 and meetings are now held at the Genesys company offices at 77 South Bedford Road (5th floor) in Burlington, Massachusetts.

The group was founded by software quality consultant and ASQ Software Division Councilor (from 1994-2002) John Pustaver.
